How to copy a Clash of Clans base layout

A screenshot helps you compare a base. An official copy link lets you open the layout in Clash of Clans without rebuilding it from the image.

  1. Choose the right Town Hall and purpose

Start with your current Town Hall. Compare war layouts for clan war or farming layouts for resource protection. Open the layout page to inspect the screenshot and source.

  2. Open the official copy link

Use “Copy layout in Clash of Clans” on the layout page. The link opens link.clashofclans.com, Supercell’s official layout-link domain. Use a device with Clash of Clans installed.

  3. Review the layout in the game

Follow the game’s import prompts and review the result before making it active. Check that the layout fits your village and that your current buildings and defenses are accounted for.

Why might a copy link not work?

The game may be unavailable on the device, the layout link may no longer be valid, or the layout may not be suitable for your current village. Try opening the link on your game device and check the original source for an updated layout.

Do I need a ClashFeed account?

You can browse layouts and open copy links without an account. Sign in to save favorites or post comments. Never enter your Supercell credentials into a ClashFeed form to copy a layout.

Does a copied base guarantee a defense?

No. Results depend on defenses, the opponent’s army and execution. Use the screenshot and public player feedback as comparison aids, then test the layout with your clan.
